Our Story
Sam Barbour - Director
Born and bred in the Wairarapa, Sam grew up in Riversdale and has deep local roots. He began his building career in 2009, gaining qualifications and valuable experience through a local Wairarapa building business. Over the years, Sam worked his way up to site foreman, developing a strong foundation in construction and leadership.
In 2015, Sam decided to branch out on his own, founding SB Building and growing his business from the ground up. By 2021, he expanded into roofing, creating a dedicated division and building a skilled team of roofers to meet the growing needs of his clients.
